Anne Hamill is a Chartered Psychologist, and Past Division Chair of the British Psychological Society. She is an expert in 21st century talent strategy, talent pipelines, and self-driven learning. She has done extensive research into the realities of successful careers. Clients like working with Anne on tough problems with no obvious solution, as she is never happier than when solving 6 impossible problems before breakfast!
Anne started her career at the Cambridge research unit that pioneered Belbin Team Roles. Since then she has founded 3 successful HR consultancies, and sold 2 of them. She works at Board level on talent strategy issues, and has a special focus on helping HR and line managers get the best from all the talented people in the business - not just the top 5%.
She has worked with HR in many sectors to set up ground-breaking talent practices, which get many more people to step up and work in the self-directed and proactive way required of 21st century talent. She is the author of a suite of tools used in many large blue chip organisations. These tools are used in simple, practical activities that promote sophisticated talent thinking.
