Research project 1: Driving internal careers
Employee surveys often show that employees are dissatisfied with the amount of career support and development they were receiving. This is partly due to new, lean HR structures providing little time to counsel individuals, and the pace of organisational change, which makes it hard to define career paths. Yet some people drive great careers inside large organisations. What do they do that others could emulate? How can you teach people to be self-sufficient in finding great opportunities that take their career forward inside your organisation?
Research project 2: High value graduates
Many companies spend large sums of money on their graduate schemes – but do these graduates all add the same amount of value? This research focused on examining the graduates who were seen to be adding most value for their organisations, 3-7 years into their careers. How can we select and develop graduates to become more like the graduates who were most successful for the organisation, long-term?
